\u201c\u2018New Phase\u2019 though is an album full of surprises; the biggest surprise of all being that for an album so firmly focused on the darker side of life, listening to it is never at any point an arduous experience due to the skilful manner in which its imaginative stories are told; each story being so brilliantly brought to life by the musical inventiveness of its participants; the humour that permeates it even when the subject matter is at its bleakest, and our sheer delirium at having heard an act here in 2024 getting to grips with issues that others are just too afraid to tackle. \u2018New Phase\u2019 presents such a rare display of complete individuality that it is difficult not to be absolutely enamoured with this album and the capabilities of its creators\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
